Prior statistical distributions implied by dynamical threshold laws for molecular collisions
Abstract
Dynamical threshold laws imply a particular translational energy dependence of the prior distribution function used in surprisal theory. The microcanonical prior distribution is not compatible with collinear and coplanar threshold laws but is compatible with three-dimensional dynamics. © 1978.
