Permanent magnet films for biasing of magnetoresistive transducers

Abstract

The Design And Material Requirements Are Presented For A permanent magnet biased magnetoresistive (MR) stripe for high resolution MR recording transducers. Preparation details of three alternative biasing films (Fe3O4 the preferred choice) as well as implementation and testing of experimental transducers are described. © 1975, IEEE. All rights reserved.
