Performance of fiber-optic data links using 670-nm cw VCSELs and a monolithic Si photodetector and CMOS preamplifier
Abstract
The paper describes the performance of a potential low-cost fiber optic data link at 622.08 Mbit/s using a monolithic silicon photodiode and a CMOS preamplifier, multimode fiber, and a red vertical cavity surface emitting lasers (VCELs).
