PACS viewer inter-operability for teleconsultation based on DICOM

Interoperability between viewers between different platforms, and different vendors is enabled. Three parts of this interoperability are distinguished: session control, audiovisual (multimedia) data exchange, and medical image sharing. The third component is discussed, assuming the use of existing standards for the first two parts.
