Optical spectra of slab molecular crystals
Abstract
A continuum theory is given for the effect of spatial dispersion on the s- and p-polarized absorption, transmission, and reflection spectra of a molecular crystal. Polariton effects in crystal spectra are discussed and the connection with the microscopic theory of optical properties established in the limit of weak spatial dispersion.
