Abstract
The goal of the Object and Relational Databases workshop was to discuss current issues and future prospects in this' field. We brought together researchers, architects, developers, and users who have experience in adapting of relational database systems for objects, who have encountered technical issues in so doing, and who have visions what the future holds for relation database systems: extended relational, relational object, object relational, or object-oriented?
