Numerical experiments on single quantized vortices
Abstract
The computational approach to superfluid dynamics is outlined, and its usefulness is illustrated by application to three problems involving single quantized vortices. We consider the vortex mill in 4He channel flow, the unwinding of a vortex from a wire in 3He-B, and the phase-slip behavior of a vortex filament in a microscopic orifice. © 1994.
