Number Theoretic Techniques for Computation of Digital Convolution
Abstract
Each of the methods for computing digital convolution has its own advantages and disadvantages. Techniques are evolved by combining advantages of various methods, leading to reduction in computational effort, and relaxation of limitations in some cases. Although discussion is primarily based on convolution of real data, similar techniques could be employed for convolution of complex sequences.
