A model is developed for one-dimensional steady-state diffusion-limited transport of solid in the presence of several chemical equilibria. The assumption that all the binary diffusion coefficients may be considered equal enables the flow to be expressed very simply in terms of the diffusion coefficient and a simple parameter describing the over-all gas composition, without reference to individual molecular species. Thermal diffusion is neglected.
