Methodology for quantum logic gate construction
Abstract
A systematic technique to construct fault-tolerant logic gates using a primitive one-bit teleportation scheme is presented. The logical gate teleportation schemes reduced the difficulty of construction of the π/8, controlled-phase, and Toffoli gates. To derive the two-bit quantum teleportation protocol and to construct a remote quantum gate, one-bit teleportation technique was analyzed. Using these techniques, one can construct remote quantum operations that cannot be directly performed.
