Abstract
A nanostructured capacitor with plates connected via leads to electron reservoirs is investigated. The transport properties of this system which exhibits no dc conductance is governed by a frequency dependent admittance. To lowest order in frequency the admittance is determined by an electrochemical capacitance and a charge relaxation resistance. © 1993.
