Low power driving method for reducing cross-talk in high resolution TFT-LCDs
Abstract
A new AMLCD driving scheme has been developed with a design emphasis of providing image pattern independent cross-talk cancellation at minimum power consumption, and is compared to existing commercially used cross-talk compensative driving schemes. Simulations correlating cross-talk capacitor coupling magnitude as a function of display size and density scaling shows the new driving scheme is capable of resolving 8 bits of gray and the conventional driving schemes are not.
