Abstract

Multimode optical transmitters and receivers are demonstrated with record low power mconsumptions and at data rates up to 20 Gb/s using 90-nm CMOS analog integrated circuits and GaAs-based VCSELs and photodiodes. © 2010 Optical Society of America.
