Itinerant theory of localized magnetism
Abstract
We show that the neutral-quasiparticle picture implicit in band theory accounts well for "localized" magnetic behavior in a variety of materials, e.g., Heusler alloys, gadolinium and the 3d monoxides, for which we present a quantitative theory of magnetic order, optical absorption, direct and inverse photoemission, tunneling and T (Néel). © 1986.
