Infrared spectra of (SN)x and brominated (SN)x
Abstract
The infrared spectra of (SN), and brominated (SN), have been measured down to 60 cm-1 and compared with the previously reported Raman spectra. Specific vibrational assignments are suggested based on these measurements. The vibrational spectra indicate that in brominated (SN)x the bromine is located between the (SN)x chains and also in the interfibrillar regions. Both Br2 and Br3 species appear to be present. © 1979 American Institute of Physics.
