Flexible matrix decompressor circuit
Abstract
A class of circuits to decompress matrixes with piecewise redundant rows is presented. A typical application is the use for cyclic redundancy check calculation with programmable polynomials. The decompression is carried out in a small number of clock cycles, and therefore improves performance as well as economises on memory space for storage of the matrixes. © 2008 The Institution of Engineering and Technology.
