Exact calculation of computer network
Abstract
The exact calculation of the reliability of the communication paths between any pair of nodes in a distributed computer network has not been feasible for large networks. Consequently, many reliability criteria have been suggested based on approximate calculations of network reliability. For a thorough treatment of these criteria, the reader is referred to the book and survey paper by Frank and Frisch and the recent survey paper by Wilkov.
