DMD characterization of legacy multimode fibers at 1300nm for link equalization purposes
Abstract
We measured 2-sigma peak-to-peak differential mode delays of up to 2.49 ps/m in legacy multimode fibres at 1300nm. Equalization may extend link distances up to 220m for legacy and 300m for 50μm OM3 fibre.
