Distributed topology construction of bluetooth personal area networks
Abstract
Bluetooth is a promising new wireless technology that enables portable devices to form short-range wireless ad hoc networks and is based on a frequency hopping physical layer. Using Bluetooth as an example, deeper insights into the tissue to link establishment in frequency hopping wireless systems are given. In addition, the Bluetooth Topology Construction Protocol (BTCP) is introduced.
