Dissipation in nanocrystalline-diamond nanomechanical resonators
Abstract
The dissipation of nanocrystalline-diamond nanomechanical resonators between 13.7 MHz and 157.3 MHz were measured. It was found that the magnitude and temperature dependence of Q-1 are very similar to those observed in other materials, suggesting a similar mechanism for dissipation.
