Development of a batch apl system
Abstract
This paper discusse3 the reasons for the development of a Batch APL System for use in Secondary Schools and the stages of development through which the system has passed. In particular, the solution to the problem of preparation o£ student input by use of an Optical Mark Read Card and the solution to the problem of high spoed output via an APL Print Chain are discussed.
