Determination of magnetization of micromagnetic wall in bubble domains by direct minimization
Abstract
The distribution of magnetization in a bubble domain is one which minimizes the total free energy according to the theory of micromagnetics. Hence, it may be determined using the methods of direct minimization. Numerical results for a one-dimensional Bloch wall are given to illustrate the method in a simple case. The concept of a wall-energy constant which is commonly adopted for domain walls having zero width is examined by an analysis of real bubble domains.
