Detection method for the normal-to-superconducting phase transition of 10 μ spheres
Abstract
In order to study the superheating and supercooling in type I superconducting spheres, with diameters of the order of 10 μ, a low noise (10-11 V) mutual inductance system has been developed capable of detecting the phase transition of less than 10-9 cc of a type I superconductor. © 1968 The American Institute of Physics.
