A critical asymmetry in local fluctuations of the rotational parameter in SrTiO3 for T<Tc and 0 is observed directly by the asymmetry as of the paramagnetic resonance lines of Fe3+-VO pair centers. The parameter as increases in a critical manner for TTc-. It is postulated that such an asymmetry is a general property of second-order phase transitions. © 1972 The American Physical Society.
