Correction to 'Time-frequency hop codes based upon extended quadratic congruences' (Nov 88 726-742)

Abstract

In the above-titled paper (ibid., vol. 24, no. 6, pp. 726-742, Nov. 1988) a new class of frequency hop codes was developed based on an extension of the theory of quadratic congruences. While the basic conclusions of the paper hold, an error was made in the derivation of the autoambiguity and cross-ambiguity properties for the new codes. The correct expressions are given for uniform bounds on (1) the amplitude of spurious peaks in the autoambiguity function and (2) the entire cross-ambiguity function surface for the whole class of codes.
