Autocompensating fiber-optic quantum cryptography system
Abstract
A QKD system based on Faraday conjugation has been developed to automatically compensate fiber birefringence and refractive index change. This article describes the system in greater detail, and reports results obtained in generating error-corrected, privacy-amplified cryptographic key data over a 10-km single-mode fiber link.
