Architecture-based Development of Web Service Based Applications

Abstract

The emerging paradigm of web service has been changing the way of web application design and development. This paper presents a novel approach for the development of web service based applications. The foundation of the proposal is based on web service oriented architecture. A CASE environment, called WSEnv, offers a set of software tools that assist the efficient production of a web service based application. Real-life experience of the use of the methodology and the environment is also reported.
