An input system designed to aid users of interactive graphics

Abstract

This paper describes research that has been conducted at the Centre Universitaire d'Informatique at the Universite de Geneve in the area of human-machine communication. In particular, a plasma panel with a finger input device has been constructed which . provides the user with a flexible easy-to-use graphics input device. A description of this device is provided along with a summary of several different types of applications which have benefited from its existence.
