AMORPHOUS CARBON DIELECTRIC COATINGS FOR MAGNETO-OPTIC RECORDING MEDIA.
Abstract
The properties of amorphous carbon overcoats for application to magnetooptic (MO) recording media are presented from both reliability and performance aspects. It is shown that these films can lead to good stability of MO active layer structures against uniform surface or interfacial oxidation.
