ADDED VALUE IN SNA.
Abstract
Systems Network Architecture (SNA) is now more than 10 years old. It may be viewed from 2 different aspects - as an architecture, or as an implementation of that architecture resulting in an integrated product set. This paper considers SNA as a foundation for Value Added Networks and Value Added Network Services, and illustrates the features of SNA using, as an example, the network which IBM U. K. is currently operating as a pilot study.
