Achieving 'handoff' traceability for complex system improvement
Abstract
This paper presents an ontology for performance the is also the basis for an enterprise modeling and measurement framwork for managing complex systems through improved traceability. The traceability is achieved in the context of hand-offs that are typical of discovery in service-oriented environments. Examples in the health care industry illustate the value of traceability in highly dynamic service-oriented enterprises with layers of operational and information technology services. © 2009 IEEE.
