A simple "magic-angle" spinning apparatus for routine use in NMR spectroscopy of solids
Abstract
The design and construction of a simple apparatus for "magic-angle" spinning experiments which is suitable for routine use is described, and its performance evaluated both in bench tests and in the spectra obtained from a variety of materials. The equipment works well for machinable solids, polycrystalline materials, and frozen liquids, and the temperature can be varied continuously from 473 K down to 77 K. © 1979.
