A note on the quantum-statistical Brillouin-Wigner perturbation theory
Abstract
The Brillouin-Wigner form of quantum statistical perturbation theory is developed. This gives a better convergence to expansions used to calculate the thermodynamic functions of many-particle systems. The method is demonstrated on the linked-cluster expansion for the free energy of a system of conduction electrons interacting with a magnetic ion. © 1967.
