A note on the determination of influence lines and surfaces using finite elements
Abstract
This paper presents a simple yet general procedure to determine influence lines and surfaces for frames, beams, trusses, and plates. The method is based on the application of the Muller-Breslau principle and finite elements. It can be easily implemented with most commercial finite element codes. © 1991.
