A case study based services computing course delivery practice
Abstract
In this paper, we present a case study based ServicesComputing course delivery practice, which includescourse preparation, course structure, courseenablement, course evaluation and analysis, andaudience-specific discussions. The case study is createdbased on a course offering to students from InternetBusiness System Master's program. Specifically, thispaper touches the major course offering challenges,course logistic setting and format, and course coverage.The emphasis is placed on the selection ofpedagogically sound materials and methods among themany available Services Computing related content. Inthe case study, final open-ended student projects showthe feasibility, usefulness and success of this coursedelivery practice. Lessons learned from the courseoffering and potential impacts on other degreeprograms are also discussed in this paper. © 2008 IEEE.
