A branched inverted-F antenna for dual band WLAN applications
Abstract
The design and analysis of a new dual band antenna have been presented for dual band WLAN application. The proposed antenna design could be easily integrated into laptop devices and provides reliable performance. The key point here is that the antenna must be considered as part of the actual laptop and tuned to match the conditions and should measured with the laptop in 90° open condition. The antenna could be build on a single sided printed circuit board (PCB) and offers advantage in size, cost and performance.
