32-Channel hybridly-integrated tunable receiver

Abstract

We describe the packaging and performances of a 32-channel tunable receiver for fast packet-switched WDMA networks. This hybridly-integrated receiver consists of a SiO2 planar waveguide grating, SiO2 lens array, InGaAs PIN photodetector array and GaAs selector/amplifier electronic circuit.
