Dr. Maria Korman
Behavioral Neuroscience and VR - Potential for Research and Applications
Biography:
Dr. Maria Korman completed her Bachelor's Degree in Biology,
at The Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva,
Israel, and her Masters and Doctoral Degrees in Life
Science, at The Weizmann Institute of Science, Neurobiology
Department, Rehovot, Israel. Maria was a Post-doc fellow and
researcher at the Functional Neuroimaging Unit, University
of Montreal, Quebec, Canada and the Department of
Neurobiology & Ethology, University of Haifa, Israel and
scientific consultant in development of novel post-stroke
rehabilitation and functional retraining protocols using
robots at Motorika inc. during the years 2004-2008. Since
2009, Maria has worked as a senior researcher at the
Technion, Haifa, Israel.
