Dr. Emanuel Habets
Emanuel Habets received his BSc degree in electrical
engineering from the Hogeschool Limburg, The Netherlands, in
1999. He received his MSc and PhD degrees in electrical
engineering from the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, The
Netherlands, in 2002 and 2007 respectively.
In February 2006 he was a guest researcher at Bar-Ilan
University in Ramat-Gan, Israel. Since March 2007, he has
been a postdoctoral researcher at the Technion - Israel
Institute of Technology and at the Bar-Ilan University in
Ramat-Gan, Israel. His research interests include
statistical signal processing and speech enhancement using
either single or multiple microphones with applications in
acoustic communication systems. His main research interest
is speech dereverberation.
