Bioassay architecture combining a quantitative g6pdh assay and a measurement of hemoglobin concentration on a single capillary-driven microfluidic chip
Abstract
We present a bioassay architecture to perform simultaneously a glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PDH) assay and a measurement of hemoglobin concentration on a capillary-driven microfluidic chip. We use a self-coalescence module (SCM) to run multiple G6PDH assays on the same chip. A theoretical model was developed to guide the integration of reagents and model the product generation of the G6PDH assay in the SCM.
