Analog optical signaling for large scale Radio Telescopes in Harsh Environments

Abstract

We present optical analog signaling technologies, developed specifically for the Square Kilometre Array (SKA). SKA will be the world's largest radio telescope when finished, combining thousands of antennas installed in remote and harsh environments.
