Michael Hersche

Michael Hersche received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from University of Applied Sciences Zurich in 2015, and the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering and information technology from ETH Zürich in 2018. He then joined the group of Prof. L. Benini at the Integrated Systems Laboratory, ETH Zürich. In 2020, he joined IBM Research-Zurich, where he is currently a member of the In-memory computing group working towards his doctorate degree. His research interests include continual learning, natural language processing, and visual abstract reasoning, focusing on vector-symbolic architectures. He is a recipient of the 2020 IBM Ph.D. Fellowship Award.
