Kibichii Bore

Nelson K Bore is a manager and technical lead of Accelerated Discovery platform engineering team at IBM Research – Africa. Nelson has 7+ years experience in research, design, building of intelligent systems, which include but are not limited to cognitive driven enterprise software, mobile solutions, Blockchain platforms and applications. Nelson has contributed to analytical problem conception, framework design, implementation and realizing new ideas into practical multiple implementations. For example, he played a key role in the development of Blockchain Secure Document Store for sharing documents in a secure manner for IBM’s Secure Global Trade Digitization Platform in collaboration with Maersk cross-border trade digitization.

Nelson has a Msc in computer science from Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, M. Sc. Mobile Telecommunications Innovation and development from Strathmore University (Kenya) and Bsc in Software Engineering from University of Eastern Africa, Baraton in Kenya.
