Allan has a foundation in science and engineering, having graduated with a degree in Science and Technology from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) and later earning his Master's in Mechanical Engineering at the same institution. During his Master's program, Allan was part of the Research Centre of Gas Innovation, where he used computational fluid dynamics to design turbomachinery with a focus on carbon capture and storage. He is now pursuing a PhD in Energy at UFABC, where he is researching the development of surrogate models for turbomachinery design using machine learning and AI. Allan's current work involves using these techniques to solve inverse problems and reduce the complexity of modeling in physical systems.
