Biography
Yuval Bistritz

Yuval Bistritz (Fellow, IEEE) received his B.Sc. in Physics, M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, from Tel Aviv University, Israel, in 1973, 1978, and 1983, respectively. From 1979 to 1984, he held various assistant and teaching positions in the department of Electrical Engineering, Tel Aviv University and in 1987, he joined the department as a faculty member. From 1984 to 1986, he was a research scholar in the Information System Laboratory, Stanford University, Stanford, CA, working on fast signal processing algorithms. From 1986 to 1987, he was with AT&T Bell Laboratories, Murray Hill, NJ, and from 1994 to 1996 with DSP Group, Santa Clara CA, working on speech processing algorithms. His research interests are in the area of digital signal processing and system theory with a current focus on the stability of multidimensional systems and speaker recognition.
