Biography

Sharon Gannot Sharon Gannot received his B.Sc. from the Technion-Israeli Institute of Technology, Israel in 1986 and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Tel-Aviv University, Israel in 1995 and 2000, respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. Between 1986-1993 he was head of a research and development section, in the R&D center of the Israeli Defense Forces. In the year 2001, he held a post-doctoral position at the department of Electrical Engineering (SISTA) at K.U.Leuven, Belgium. He currently holds a research and teaching fellowship position at the Signal and Image Processing Lab (SIPL), Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Technion-Israeli Institute of Technology. His research interests include parameter estimation, statistical signal processing and speech processing, using either single- or multi-microphone arrays.
