Biography

Ran Gazit Ran Gazit received his B.Sc and M.Sc. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, and holds a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, CA. Dr. Gazit worked with RAFAEL, Israel on the research and development of advanced guidance and control laws. As a research associate at Stanford University, Dr. Gazit developed algorithms for the Wide Area DGPS project. He then switched from satellite navigation to speech processing and went to lead the Speaker Identification team at Comverse Technology. Dr. Gazit is currently the chief scientist of Persay Ltd, a subsidiary of Comverse Technology, providing voice verification solutions for remote services.
